The warm glow (and food coma) of Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is around the corner, and we are celebrating with our Christmas menu and pre-order.
And while it’s definitely a time to enjoy the season, spend time with loved ones, and maybe sip on a little (vegan) eggnog, trying to cook a large meal for Christmas can be exhausting. It might be juggling a lot of different tastes, braving the grocery store crowds for last-minute ingredients, or trying to get it all done in time for guests. When you think about it, it gets pretty tiring.
That’s where we come in. Like a superhero, but you know, with better food. Our Christmas menu has been carefully crafted to incorporate some traditional holiday flavors, with a twist of adventure and a dash of playfulness. Whether you’re after sweet or savory, we have a flavor for you. Crafted with love, and ready for you to pick up with reheating instructions, here’s a little peek at our Christmas menu.
Where to start?
Well, luckily, we’ve got two options for you. Our White Bean & Kale Soup with butternut squash & garlic chips is the perfect way to start off your meal. Looking for something a little more classic? Our French Onion Dip is a plant-based spin on a classic starter. Serve with your favorite crackers, chips, or crudite to start the night off. Or if you want a little more adventure, our P&W Caesar is a fan-favorite with kale, shaved brussels, seeded granola, and a nori-lemon emulsion to top it off. Yes, we drooled a little too at that last one.
Bring on the mains
For the main course, we’ve crafted options that will appease classic Christmas dinner enthusiasts while also bringing a little adventure into it. Our Butternut Mac & Cheeze is our twist on the classics, with brown rice penne pasta, peas, caramelized onion, and a pepita-sage crumble And to bring in that homey feeling of Christmas to your breakfast spread, our Christmas Morning Frittata is the perfect option, with tomato, basil, garlic, spinach, and goat cheese to top it off.
For the sweet tooth… even at breakfast. Santa says it’s ok 😉
Our dessert menu is slightly sinful but in the best way possible. You might end up on Santa’s naughty list for indulging, but what is Christmas really about if not a little indulgence? Our Gingerbread French Toast Casserole is just as delicious as it sounds, especially with our maple pecan swirl and ginger cashew cream glaze.
Looking for something a little more hot and fresh? Our Cinnamon Rolls come with a vanilla-cashew cream glaze & candied walnuts and are ready to bake on Christmas morning for maximum freshness and yumminess. Coupled with our housemade brioche loaf (complete with a swirl of chocolate!), this is a feast you won’t forget.
Some extra goodies
Whether you’re on Santa’s naughty or nice list, we’ve added some extra goodies into our Christmas menu just for you. Our Christmas Cookie Tray comes with pumpkin snickerdoodle; candied ginger & chocolate chip; cranberry pistachio; ginger molasses; Mexican chocolate; peppermint sugar cookies for some extra holiday cheer.
And did you think we’d forget about beverages for this menu? Of course not. We’ve got a Superfood Hot Chocolate Mix with raw cacao, maca, coconut sugar, mesquite, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, powdered and ready to mix. Store it for a cold night, or keep the holiday spirit going by gifting it. And for those who want a little kick in Christmas cheer, we’ve got raw eggnog with housemade almond milk and all the holiday spices…and it goes perfect with brandy or bourbon. Just sayin 😉
