You are on the floor 2-3 shifts a week (part-time) or 4-5 shifts a week (full-time). You hold yourself to the standards of the company vision, mission, and core values. You are accountable for all shifts scheduled and communicating with your fellow team members when shifts need to be covered. You are committed to recognizing problems, having a voice of possibility, and creating solutions in conjunction with our upper leadership team when opportunities arise.
A day in the life of a Sanctum Server/Barista:
You are accountable for the successful transactions of guest’s orders, purchases, and all allocated side work for servers. You are knowledgeable in the food we serve and why we serve it and proficient in making all of the beverages served in house. You create a world-class guest experience providing informed service that leaves our guest feeling educated and empowered.
A day in the life of a Sanctum Kitchen Wizard:
You are accountable for consistent and precise preparation of food. You work efficiently and with a sense of urgency while maintaining a clean work space. You plate food that is visually appealing and of appropriate portioning. You show respect for the recipes you prepare and the food you handle. You offer innovation and creativity, working in conjunction with the chefs and upper leadership team to improve processes and create new and exciting flavors.
A day in the life of Smoothie/Juice Prep:
You are accountable for consistent and precise preparation of smoothies, shots, and cold-pressed juice that are sourced to our 3 restaurants (The Sanctum Cafe, The Sanctum Coffee & Juice Bar, and Proper & Wild). You work efficiently and with a sense of urgency while maintaining a clean work space. You operate the commercial juicer with confidence, performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks. You maintain accurate counts of products and ensure that each restaurant is up to par. You work in conjunction with the upper leadership team to improve processes and come up with exciting flavors for seasonal varieties of juice.
